Upper East Side, 77th Street Between Madison and Fifth Avenues

This is one of those spots where I make a mental note to come back another time to see it in different conditions, like when the scaffolding comes down or when the doors are closed. But will I? Not likely. Too much walking to do first.

See map.

I wish some of these photos could be seen together, because it would show the incrediable diverisy of this city. Like here's this fortress-like building, and picture it next to some of those deserted Inwood streets, or those quiet Village town houses. These streets are dynamically different. The photos are so diverse, they're like little freeze-frames of things that don't seem to have any logical order (in the best of ways, of course).
