Upper West Side, Riverside Park at 72nd Street

On Monday, Yom Kippur, our office was closed and it was a gorgeous day and I had to get olive oil at Fairway, so I took the subway down to 72nd street and walked across to Riverside Park.

Today it's 59° and fall is here.

This is quite subtle and moving. The long shadows so soft and melancholy in the autumn light. The Asian sensibility of the limb.

This shot is gorgeous -- very satisfying to gaze at. It feels universal. Two boys playing with a ball, their forms caught in a larger landscape creating an open question. I love how the lines all have answers.

Bathes my eyeballs in a wonderful green. A surprise!
